Testimonials
- “If you go on no other trade event over the coming years, you need to put this one in the diary and lock in your spot for March 2025. It is so all encompassing and offers more than I have ever gained from other trade or expo events, and I have been to a few across the globe! It is also very targeted for those wanting to break into, or expand their presence, in the largest organic and good for you marketplace of the USA, while being generic enough meeting with a wide array of people, products and places that put your own products and work in perspective (and sometimes in its place given this vast market). What makes this unique is also the intimate, bespoke meetings with Buyers from major and specialist retailers, wholesalers as well as processors where the real rubber hits the road.I have been 4 times over the past decades to this event and it never gets boring or repetitive! Apart from the great camaraderie and fun that happens when you tag along with like-minded individuals on a road trip quest, you bring back priceless memories and invaluable trade and market links that just keep on giving. I definitely plan to return again!” Dr Andrew Monk-Chair Enervest and non-executive Director at Kialla Pure Foods
- “Taking part in Kim’s US trade mission greatly informed many key decisions I would be making moving into the US market. We visited all the important vendors and were introduced directly to key buyers which was hugely beneficial. The group dynamic was always fun and felt very supportive. I would highly recommend taking part.” Bridget Carmady- Clemence Organics-Director, Naturopath & Founder.
- “I attended The Aussie Organic Trade Missions to California in 2018, 2020,2022 and 2023 and East Coast (New York State and Pennsylvania) in 2019, organised by Kim Morgan. I have to say that she is an excellent organiser. She tailors the Trade Missions to the requirements of the attendees. I am in Organic Veg production, wholesale and retail; Kim organised both farm visits and retail store visits and helped me with connections to key industry representatives in these fields. Kim is great at including everyone who attends these trade missions and ensures that everyone is looked after and happy. I personally have formed lifetime friendships with other attendees on the Trade missions. I would highly recommend!”Natasha Shields - Peninsula Fresh Organics (Owner) and Peninsula Organic Farm Gate (Founding Owner), Nuffield Scholar 2019, Australian Organic Ltd Chairman’s Award, 2017
- “The US trade mission has been exceptionally valuable for our business as we moved into releasing a new product. The trip gave us insights into what the consumer was demanding, the operational aspect of the product and how to get the product to market. The US trade mission was exceptionally well organised and executed throughout and I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn what the biggest organic market in the world is doing in their chosen industry.” Simon Schulz – Founder Schulz Organic Dairy and Australian Organic Young Leader of The Year, 2019
- “Firstly I would like to thank you for a great experience on the US Trade Mission in 2018, 2019 (West Coast and East Coast) and 2020 and 2023. The Trade Mission was well organised by Kim and Sarah (Northern California 2018 & 2019), accommodating individual outcomes throughout the trip. The group’s had a very comprehensive overview of the organic market in California and New York State (2019) being hosted by retailers, buyers, decision makers, leaders, owners and various farms. It was a great networking opportunity and learning experience and I would highly recommend anyone in the organic industry to participate on Kim’s annual Organic Trade Mission to The States. I am often asked why I am on these trade Missions when I can’t export to The USA and my reply is to get outside my square box and to learn and grow as a person.” Petar Pirovic - Pirovic Family Farms and Australian Organic Farmer of the year 2019
- “Kim is extremely well connected and an insightful leader in the organic industry. Several members of our team participated on the U.S Trade Mission in 2019 and the highlights for us were getting in front of The V.P of Whole Foods Market and the buyers for the Northern California region, The V.P of Erewhon Market, the presentation on bricks and mortar and the state of e-commerce by Will at Thrive Market, meeting with Sam from Bi-Rite Market and with Mark and The Good Earth team. This gave us great insight into the U.S FMCG market. Kim helped us with our export strategy in The U.S, which has resulted in two of our products being listed by Whole Foods Market. The acceptance of Meluka’s products into Whole Foods Market is an important milestone for our organisation. Whole Foods Market is one of the most recognised wholefoods retailers in the U.S with an extensive retail network. With her wealth of experience, insights into global trade and relationship management we are excited to continue to work with Kim." Ben Rohr – COO at Eve Investments LTD and CEO, Meluka Australia
